The latest and greatest is on the SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services SP3
distribution which can
be found at: http://www.microsoft.com/sql/downloads/2000/sp3.asp
>From the Analysis Services componets (sqlasp3.exe), look in the
\msolap\install\pts folder.
As I pointed out in the AS Operations Guide
(http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/sql/2000/maintain/anservog.msp
x) , it is *EXTREMELY IMPORTANT* that you update your client-side PTS OLEDB
provider when you upgrade your server to SP3. Many of the performance and
throughput improvements with SP3 are only realized if you have upgraded you
client-side PTS component. This is true with any MSFT and 3rd party
client-side (or mid-tier) tool -- wherever they are interfacing to PTS, then
PTS needs to be upgraded along with the Analysis server.
