Thanks for your detailed information!

Now, I understood that any modifications to the existing mdb file will lead
to the error when you try to save these modifications. However, it remains
fine when nothing changed. Have I understood correctly this time?

It seems you are not able to passing user name and it's passowrd via DSN.
If modifies the mdb file in another box, will it reproduce this sceanrio?
Anyway, I am looking into this issue and will update you as soon as
possible when I find something useful.

BTW, here is a workaround using ODBC connections without DSN. I have
noticed that there must be much modifications in this way, so it's just for
your reference:)
