What does SQL 2005 do that makes Microsoft feel that we don't need English
Query anymore?
(PS: I'm already aware that if you upgrade an existing server it doesn't
delete English Query.)

In addition to Arnie's reply - you can always suggest that Microsoft
brings back English Query through the Connect site. In my experience,
Microsoft does listen - especially when many a suggestion collects lots
of votes.
