Cant install MSDE 2000 - Help (Error 1304)

I am having problems installing MSDE 2000 (SP3) on to a computer. Its gets so far and then reports error 1304 (see log below). The command line used is

Setup.exe /settings setup.ini DISABLENETWORKPROTOCOLS=0 /qn /L*v C:\MSDELog.log SAPWD=mypassword SECURITYMODE=SQL instancename=Telelite


Checking knowledgebases and newsgroups say to delete temp file and check CD drive setup. But the MSDE install media is run from the harddrive. There is .NET stuff and Office 2003 installed onto the computer (running XP) but cannot see anything that should be stopping it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
