I have a single instance of MSDE 2000 SP4 installed on my computer, set
to mixed mode authentication. It happens - sometimes a few times a day,
sometimes once in a few days - that MSDE resets itself to NT only
authentication. I installed MSDE on a few computers in a LAN and it
still happens, totally inpredictable and for no obvious reason. All
computers are running Windows XP Pro SP2.
Does anybody know anything about this matter and how to solve it?
