My progam installed an instance of MSDE on their "Server" (just an XP
machine).
I have a copy of SQL Server at my office.
From their CLIENT1:YES: connect to my my SQL Server
NO: connect to their MSDE Server
NO : Connect to MSDE Server with alias with DYNAMIC PORT #
YES: connect to their MSDE Server with alias set up WITH PORT# specified
From CLIENT2:YES: connect to my my SQL Server
NO: connect to their MSDE Server
YES: Connect to MSDE Server with alias with DYNAMIC PORT #
YES: connect to their MSDE Server with alias set up WITH PORT# specified
FROM MY OFFICE:
YES: connect to my my SQL Server
YES: connect to their MSDE Server
YES: Connect to MSDE Server with alias with DYNAMIC PORT #
YES: connect to their MSDE Server with alias set up WITH PORT# specified
