Not able to register server
I am facing some problems here.
Currently, due to shortage of SQL Server license only few machines in my
company get to install the SQL server full version (including the Enterprise
Manager). While the rest of the machines are installed with MSDE.
I was trying to view the other database of the machine that installed with
MSDE I couldn't. When I try to register server using the Enterprise Manager,
I was able to see the machine to connect but after come to the connection, I
received the error message of 'Connection Timeout'.
What could be the possible steps that I have missed during the installation
or connection? Please advise. Thanks.
