Andrea, The following is a reply from the support people at Journyx. Does
this make any sense to you?

Since MSDE SP2 it just doesn't work anymore. It used to work. If you are
installing MSDE applications that don't have MSDE SP2 then you can install
them. But you will then get the SQL Blaster worm faster than you can
manually install SP2.
I'm sorry, but we cannot make Microsoft fix their bugs.
