if you mean the VSDOTNET instance is not shown in the Service Manaver
combobox, this is a known issue as reported in
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;814132 Knowledge
Base article... but the instance is installed and running?
please do check typing VSDOTNETd in the Service Manager combobox and
refreshing it, and/or opening the control panel services applet and
monitoring the MSSQL$VSDOTNET item...
