Hi Everyone.
I previously downloaded and installed MSDE (sql2kdesksp3.exe 70815 KB)
and used it briefly to learn ASP.NET (WebMatrix) and VB.NET.
Now I have full blown VS2003 and I'm ready to take on migrating my
clients from DBF based applications (dBase, FoxPro, etc) to SQL server.
I always check for updates and today I find..
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE 2000) Release A
and it's file, MSDE2000A.exe is a fraction of the size (43259 KB).
Can Microsoft release an update that is really smaller? Do I still need
the older larger file?
I must be missing something :)
Richard
