Hi Jeff,
All you get is access to the service manager when you've installed it. The
option to browse for servers isn't often able to do that for a variety of
reasons. Try entering the name of your system into the dropdown in the ODBC
configuration rather than browsing for it. If you've used an instance name
(don't see one in your command line), enter it as well eg
computername\instancename
BTW, you seem to be providing an SA password but not setting up SQL
authentication. Might want to add SECURITYMODE=SQL
