Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I've tried every method of updating MDAC with every version from 2.6 on without success. If QA presses the issue rather than chalking it up to a hosed hotfix or other update, I guess I'll have to call support; at this point it's sort of fallen off the radar screen.
