Has anyone had any practical experience in having winForms clients pick up
scripts from the server and having them in the background?

I have a .NET setup routine that runs osql in the background but, that is
only one time. What about updates? What if I need t add a field or two or
row of data or two? What if i need to not disturb or save the data that
exists in there? And how do i make this run seemlessly without the user
being aware or at least no intervention?
