Yes, this problem happens whenever you have updatetext in the SQL. The
problem is fixed in the June v1.1 CTP, which you can download from here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/data/ref/jdbc/ . The fix will also be in the
v1.1 release, which we are targeting for August.
