cannot read BIG5

Hello, I have a SQL 2000 server running on English Windows 2003 server. My
test program is running on a Windows 2000 professional, Chinese version. I
created some big5 data in a dummy table, when I read it via JDBC driver,
that data becomes ???????? in the output. How can I read BIG5 using jdbc?
