Re: Full Text catalog not working

If this is SQL Server 2000 it should be running under the local system
account.

Hi I am trying to create a Full Text Xatalog, but after entering the name,
I am getting an error message saying that The Microsoft Search Service
cannot be administered under the present user account.

I am administrator, and as far as i can see both SQL and MS Search are
running under the same user account.

Can someone help a puzzled newbie please :)

thanks
