Re: ISABOUT deprecation?

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

There is nothing in the SQL Server documentation stating it is deprecated.
Perhaps it will be deprecated in SharePoint.

Is is possible that the ISABOUT term of the CONTAINS predicate could be
deprecated in SQL Server? This concern came up when I read about its
deprecation in Windows SharePoint Services documentation:

Important:
While this feature is still supported in the current product version, it
may be removed in the future. If you write new applications, avoid using
this deprecated feature. If you modify existing applications, you are
strongly encouraged to remove any dependency on this feature.

Why would they deprecate it there and leave it in SQL Server?

Thanks
