Hi Bob
When I add a dtsx file to solution explorer it puts it in the Miscellaneous
folder and there is no right click option to execute and I can't load it
anyway. I don't get a folder for SSIS so perhaps I don't have the neccesary
components installed. I installed the Integration Services (which I don't
think I should need anyway) but it didn't help.
When I open the file in Server Management Studio I can see the Control Flow,
Data Flow, Event Handlers and Package Explorer tabs but I don't get the
option to execute from any step.
When I try to add a new project I only get a choice of SQL Server Scripts,
Analysis Services Scripts and SQL Mobile Scripts.
I found out that I can double click the dtsx file in windows exporer and it
runs. Obviously I would like to have everything grouped up in a project and
be able to do everything from there.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Andrew
