Re: BUG: Copy/Paste does not work properly

On build 3054 I did this

2 * OLE DB Source Adapters into 2 * Sort Components

Sort Components into Merge Join

Merge Join into Union All

Union all into Union All


I copied all these components

I created another Data Flow Task and pasted the components in and everything came across.

Is this not what you see? Build?

When SSIS is not erroring with "SerializeComponentFailed" when trying
to copy and paste, it only half works.

e.g. select 2 ole sources going into a merge join and a few tasks
after this and it does not bother to pull across half the tasks on
pasting

Why can't the managers from the SSIS team talk to the VISIO team to
give the product the UI it deserves?

This is such a simple function, why doesn't it work?
