DTS Package problem
Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry
I would describe this as an error, but i've created a DTS that connects
to an FTP server and downloads a file, i've created a GV that gets it's
value from an Active X script, at first i had a problem of "Step Error
Description:Invalid string format for source file names. " but i fixed
that reading topics in this groups, now i don't get an error, but i
don't get the file either, the package finishes without an error
"Sucessfully completed execution of the package" but when i go to
verify the destination folder there is nothing in there, i've checked
the value of the GV and it is ok, if i change the date on my computer i
generates the name of the file that it requires, also i've noticed that
if i select the file manualy from the FTP server it does download it,
also i noticed that when i select the file manually it does have info
on the size field while the GV does not have this info, does this have
anything to do with my problem?
Thank you
