Access Violation copying data

Hallo,
I have the following problem:
Currently I’m trying to „clone“ a running SQL Server 7.0 which is running
under Windows NT 4.0. This means that I have another Windows NT 4.0 maschine
with SQL Server 7.0 running on it. Now I want to copy all the data from
server1 to server2. I did this with the Data Transformation Service (DTS) but
everytime I tried it, it aborts with the following access violation:
Need to run the object to perform this operation.
[SQL-DMO] Code execution exception:Exception_Access_violation
As per Microsoft this error should be fixed with the service pack 3.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q268413
But that isn’t the case. The error still occurs each time I try this.
Its very important that I get this issue solved cause I need this as a
test-server for a migration I’ll have to do in a month.
Has anybody an idea what the problem is?
sincerely yours
Stefan Weber
