it all started on 5/27....

Good morning folks,
I am at my wits end and have turned to you so that I can keep some of
the remaining hair on my head. This is going to be a long winded post
as well. Fair warning.
We have a Pervasive 2000i database which we had SP4 on. We have several
individual DTS packages on SQL Server 2000 SP 4 that import and convert
the data from Pervasive to SQL. In addition there is a DTS package
which executes all the individual DTS packages via a dtsrun script in a
stored procedure that a user can kick off in order to run a real time
report. The SQL lives on a separate server than Pervasive.
This was all running great up until 5/27. Then something happened (we
don't know what; our network guys claim nothing was done).
When we came back from the holiday weekend it was hell. My DTS packages
weren't running and people were complaining that the other application
on the other server was slow. Our network guys uninstalled SP 4 on
Pervasive. This resulted in a Error In Assignment that could only be
fixed with SP 4 on Pervasive but that caused trouble (although it never
had before).
So after going back and forth, I installed Pervasive 2000i with SP4 on
the same machine as SQL Server 2K SP 4.
Now, if I execute the DTS packages individually on the server, all
works fine. If I execute the DTS package that synchs all on the server
it doesn't work. If I use Enterprise manager on my development machine
to execute the DTS packages on the server, none of them work.
I really need some help here. Any assistance would be greatly
appreciated. If you would like, I can be reached at

Thanks,
Tony
