DTS limiting file size in export

Hi

I need to export a table as a one or more text files
with the files being limited in size.
The only solution

I can think of is to use activex script to run a dts
package, then rename the output file, pump out the next
data block and repeat until done.

Is this sensible or is there another way.
I don't think splitting the file after creation is an option
