DTS periodic failures

Hi,
I have a server running on Windows Server 2003 and SQL Server 2000 SP3a.
It runs 16 DTS packages scheduled to run once per minute via SQL Server
Agent. Periodically TDSRun will fail with the following message in a dialog
box.
The exception Illegal Instruction
An attempt was made to access an illegal instruction
(0xc000001d) occurred in the application at location 0x007d24b4
The execution of the job is blocked at that point. This has happened on a
number of DTS packages. All the packages on the server have a connection to
the local SQL Server and an SQL Task. All the packages operate on a linked
server in the SQL Task. There are several databases involved on the linked
server but each DTS package only accesses a single database. The linked
server runs NT 4 SP6a and SQL Server 7 SP3.
Any ideas about what may be causing this problem or any steps I can take to
try to diagnose the cause?
Regards
James Wilman
