    Hi.

    to answer your questions:
    SP4 for windows 2000 was installed on the users's pc.

    THe DTS being used was first created using the DTS package wizards, then
    the code taken and inserted into VB (6) code as part of a system. The
    user has the facility to select an option from the menu which would
    start the DTS code.

    Logging is enabled, however the system just "hangs" and the error is not
    always given.In fact most of the times it just hangs as if it is waiting
    for something..
