Using cubes to show string values ?!

Hi,

I'm using MS SQL Server 2000 with Analysis Services and have already created
some cubes with mathematical functions for numerical values. The Problem is,
that I also have to represent some text values in my application, and for
having a similar interface I would like to create a cube for those as well.

I thought it would be possible to create a Rolap cube and using my text
value as measure, which is at least selectable in the cube editor.
After that browsing the cube, all text measures are only displayed as "1.0" !!

Is it anyway possible to create cubes of any type displaying text while
using the Microsoft Analysis Service ??
