I am doing a project that requires me to mine a web server log i have
created the ER diagram for it, and now iam wondering how i populate an
access database so that i can then import it into sql server 2005 so i can
data mine it.

Have you checked the SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), shipped with
SQL Server 2005?
