Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Hi,

I am trying to play with the data mining in excel, but get an error on cannot create model on current instance.

I guess it is related with my SQL analysis or OS edition.

Here is what I have
1. Windows xp sp2
2. Excel 2007 with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Data Mining Add-Ins for Office 2007
3. SQL20005 developer edition with SP2 (include analysis service and I created a database there already).
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - 9.00.3042.00 (Intel X86) Feb 9 2007 22:47:07 Copyright (c) 1988-2005 Microsoft Corporation Developer Edition on Windows NT 5.1 (Build 2600: Service Pack 2)

Exact error message:
HighLight Exceptions:
Error (Data mining): Session mining objects (including special data source views used to process data mining dimensions) cannot be created on this instance.

Yours,
Yulin
