SQL2005 plugins

Hi There,

Right now I am developing a proposal for the purchase of a data mining solution for my organization. We are running SQL2000 and I would like to recommend SQL2005 as the solution. However, my concern is that new algorithms do not perform on our data as good as using other data mining programs. My question is if there are plug-ins written by outside vendors for sql 2005. I've heard KXEN and SPSS were working on them, but I cant find any concrete information or demo versions.
