This happens to me all the time. I lose something, and when it is gone I
want it back again, but alas it is gone. I need a way to find it when it is
gone, but since it is gone it seems very hard to find. Sometimes I lose
something and I know it is somewhere, but I can't figure out where. If only
I could just have one place to look for things that I have lost, then I
wouldn't need to waste so much time looking in places where it isn't. In
the case of databases, there is such a place. The backup.
In the case that you need to restore data but have no data to restore, then
that problem has the simplest possible solution. You can restore the data
from anywhere you please.
