HI
My application encountered an issue as mentioned below after migrating the
sql server to 2005.
10054:A transport-level error has occurred when sending the request to the
server. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - An existing connection was
forcibly closed by the remote host.)
application was kept idle for 17 min and we got this issue.but the
patterns
in which the error is raised is quite interesting. The application also
kept
idle for more than half an hour ,to just to reproduce it but just to see a
failured attempt.
Guess, there are other factors causing the appliactions to break not just
the
application's idle time..
saw the same issue in some of the forums..but to my surprise there is no
robust solution thus far..
please provide any help in the right directions
