Wow, that's just impressive. OK, a 12MB Db should restore in just a few
secs, so you're several hundred thousand times off track...
That said, it looks like your restore is stuck somewhere. Are you restoring
the DB from the same version of SQL2k5?
ok, let's start here... answer these questions.
1. Are you restoring over an existing DB or has the original DB been
deleted and you're trying to get it back?
2. Is it restoring to the same server?
3. What is the exact syntax you're typing to run the restore?
