This could be a connectivity issue, then again.............

I might be completely in the wrong NG, but I'm going to give this a shot as I've tried other sources and come up with nothing.
We have a SQL Server 2000 file manager on our domain.
I use Crystal Reports to write db based reports covering a variety of subjects.
The people needing access to the reports use a third party CR reader that has served us well.
Now, I'm running into a problem with one particular workstation (OS is XP).
SQL Server is installed on the workstation for connectivity.
When I login as administrator, I can pull up the report and refresh it with no problem.
When I login as the primary user of the machine (Power User access), the report comes up OK, but when I try to refresh the report I get an error that says "physical database not found".
If I change the user's access to administrator, there is no problem and the report refreshes without error.
I've reported this to the software vendor.
They say there is a problem with access to the connectivity layer without further elaboration.
Other workstations, setup exactly the same way in every detail, including the user, do not exhibit this problem.
This is a new machine, right out of the box, so there is no chance of anyone else changing security policies etc as I am the only one with admin access.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
