unable to connect

HI,

I have just installed vista and reinstalled the SQL tools, but can not longer connect to the SQL Server 2005 server.

I recall there where some diag nostic tools (sqlping ??) that could help resolve connection issues (vista firewall is off) but can not find them.
Where do I get them, and is there a how-to diagnose connection problems somewhere?
