ASP Connection string error

hi,

In my ASP project,SQL Server is configured to allow remote
connections.So i have used the MS-Remote connection string provider.Here i
enclosed my connection string.

Connetion string
----------------

"Provider=MS Remote;Remote Server=server_address_or_ip_address,port
no;Remote Provider=SQLOLEDB;Data Source=sql_server_name;Initial
Catalog=Database_name;User ID=xxxxx;Password=xxxxx"

but i am getting the following error.

Error
------
Microsoft ADO/RDS error '800a1003'
Cannot connect to server.



Can anyone know about the reason.plz advise to me ASAP.
