Have just changed over from Access to SQL server 2000.

Having connection difficulty at one client only!! 2 pcs on network - both
win 98.
Local machine connects to server fine, but when connecting to sql server via
network a dial up box appears. When I "cancel" I get the "access denied or
doesn't exist" error. (presumably because it wants to dial in to the server
pc)

Have installed this on many other networks of various specs, but just one
that wants to dial in to the other computer.
Our previous version (using MS access) opens and runs just fine. All other
network apps they run are fine, too (though none are sql server).

Any ideas?
