So that means you didn't actually install SQL Server SP3a. 8.00.0194 is the
original release version with no service packs or hotfixes applied.

The default service pack install directory is c:\sql2ksp3 but there is no
molap subdirectory. It looks to me like you downloaded and installed
Analysis Service SP3a, or sql2kasp3.exe. That does happen to be the first
file listed on the download page,
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=90DCD52C-0488-4E46-AFBF-ACACE5369FA3&displaylang=en#filelist,
and it's easy to make that mistake if you don't read the text carefully.
What you really want is the third file listed, sql2ksp3.exe. The middle one,
sql2kdesksp3.exe is the MSDE update
