Hi,

I've been getting a weird error on my clients PC's, one that I cannot find
anything about on Microsoft's web site. We're using SQL Server 2000,
connecting from a VB 6 app using ADO and MDAC 2.8.

The error is as follows.

Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server
Description: <App Name> is trying to create an object that is not
registered, in procedure <Proc Name>
Number: -2147467259

I'm very confident that all the objects are registered OK as this occurs may
be 4 times a day in random procedures, and the application has some very
heavy use over the period of a day, so I know that these procedures work
fine 99.9% of the time, and of course it never occurs on our test system.

If anybody has come accross this before, any help will be gratefully
received, as I'm scratching my head

Yours
Chris
