Are you using Standard Edition SQL Server or Enterprise Edition? If the
latter, why not just have 1 multi-node cluster?
If you want the cluster(s) to have access to more than one array, you will
need a proper switch network in place, and all would need to be shareable
across each of the nodes.
You can connect each node directly into each storage array, but it would be
better for each to have multiple HBAs connected to each switch, each of
which is connected to each array.
I am not sure what exactly you are asking.
Sincerely,
Anthony Thomas

We are upgrading our current clusters to new hardware HP DL 380 G5 with 2MSA
clusters each with 2 nodes. but for both sql clusters we need to use same
1000 with 2 controllers (having 4 arrays Array1,2,3,4(with 2 arrays(1,2)for
Cluster1 and remaining two arrays arrays(3,4) for cluster 2 .
is this configuration works well?or we need to go for seperate MSAs ?
is it possible to dedicate contollers for each cluster
Pls Advice
