Yes, You can create a VLAN using the switch and configure all 4 nodes to
listen for heartbeat on this. in fact, this is the recommended way to
configure heartbeat when you have more than 2 nodes.

I want to configure a 4 node cluster
I have setup a 2 node prior, I have a question regarding heartbeat. Is it
possible to have all 4 nodes communicate on a private set of ip through a
switch instead of a cross over cable connecting 2? I want all 4 to talk
to
each other on the heartbeat side.

ie. ip for all heartbeats 192.168.1.1-192,168.1.4
