Re: Unable to start MSDTC service

I also have the Same problem as Joe have

I have two node cluster.

1st name is master-1 and the 2nd name is master-2

both have win2003 server EE installed along with srevice pack 1 and
active directory

i made a cluster by the name : THI-Cluster
then add 1sst node which is master-1
sucess fully added

then i add 2nd node by the name master-2
which is also added in cluster sucessfully

now i add a new resource by the name MSDTC
which is distributed transaction coordinator service
in the cluster resource then i make taht service online
at that owner of all the service is master-1 now i want to test that
cluster can be handle by master-2 or not

when move the cluster group, all the services comes online on master-2
except DTC service then its stop the cluster service on master-2 and
then all the service ownership transfer to maser-1.

when i tried to start the servcie manulay the message occur

Could not start the Distributed Transaction Coordinator service on
Local Computer.
Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly"

if this service wont start on the 2nd node then cluster is useless....

Please help me out.... what should i do?
