Re: ODBC error

Sorry Martin, a german error message doesn't help :(

At least you could try to have a look at the Event Viewer to look for any error message about your this problem. I know, it would also be in german, but we at least would know its Event ID.

Hello
I'm not the sql guru but I have a strange problem. I hope I can describe it
correct.
We use Win2k and WinXP pc's. The server is a Win2k Server (all updates) and
a SQL2005 installation. On the SQL2005 is an XAL application running.
Sometimes we get strange error messages. After this the SQL2005 server kicks
all users out:

(Sorry, only in german)

SQL-Fehler: Die SQL-Datenbank hat folgende Fehler signalisiert: [XAL]
Maximum cursors exceeded. Dateneingabe wiederholen?

and

SQL-Fehler: Die SQL-Datenbank hat folgende Fehler signalisiert:
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver] Kommunikationsverbindungsfehler.
Dateneingabe wiederhohlen?

Do you need more datas? Any hints are very welcome.

Kind regards,

.
