Problem with Management Studio (Not Responding)

Hi all

I have a problem with SQL Server Management Studio. After being open for a
while Management Studio first becomes very slow (e.g. opening a table takes
more than three minutes). After another while it completely stops
responding.

While this happens the Explorer.exe task is using 50% of the system
resources. After shutting down Management Studio through the Task Manager
Windows Explorer stops responding too and I have to reboot.

Does anybody have the same problems? What could be the cause?
