    How about turning OFF AUTO_CLOSE? Does it take effective on your issue?

    Secondly, I suspect it is an network issue instead of SQL Server issue, may
    be something in firewall or network configuration needs checking.
    Unfortunately, I am not an expert on Network, I hope the following

    Moreover, would you please show me detailed information of that time-out
    error message? Detailed information, I believe, will bring us closer to the
    resolution
