    Can someone tell me what this is: MS Tabular Data Stream (TDS)? I looked in the manuals, but I still don't quite get it. On one hand, it looks like an engine level API that puts data into packets on the wire, but on another diagram it looked like it was part of the Client/Server comm flows and just there. It says it is supported in ODBC and OLEDB. What about .Net? Do people use it? Is it that much fater? help?
