Is the 3 hours and 40 minutes the time it takes the server to generate the
initial subscription or the total time it takes to generate the CE database
on the device?

Hi mmobile,
thanks for the response,
we have 72 tables and there are tables that has up to 8 indexes.
The problem is that for the the same database, the same device, the
same
application, SQL Server CE 2.0 does not has problem.
For an initial snapshot of 113375 inserts,
SQL Server CE 2.0 (if you prefere sscesa20.dll) creates an 28,2
MBytes
sdf in 10 minutes and
SQL Server Mobile(if you prefere sqlcesa30.dll) creates an 20,8
Mbytes
sdf in 3hours and 40
minutes!!!!!
