Both SQL Server CE 2.0 and SQL Server Mobile clients to SQL Server 2000 SP3a - Initial snapshot problem

Dear ALL,

using the following instractions:

1.
Install SQL Server 2000 SP3a replication components (sql2kxxsp3a.msi)
from the following link.

2.
Install .NET framework 2.0 before installing SQL Server 2005 Mobile
Edition Server Tools.

3.
Install the SQL Server 2005 Mobile Edition Server Tools
(Sqlce30setupxx.msi) from the following link.

4.
Execute Connwiz.exe from Start menu: Programs -> Microsoft SQL Server
2005 Mobile Edition -> Configure Web Synchronization Wizard to
configure the virtual directory.

we have complete it but we facing the following problem:

For an initial snapshot of 113375 inserts,

SQL Server CE 2.0 creates an 28,2 MBytes sdf in 10 minutes and
SQL Server Mobile creates an 20,8 Mbytes sdf in 3hours and 40
minutes!!!!!

The time that SQL Server Mobile took is exclusionary.

Please Advise

We think that NOT to upgrade is not a good advice :)
