Thanks for great suggestion.
I got the following error in log file:
"Unknown switch in command line
HRESULT: 0x80004005
Database upgrade failed"
Anything wrong in the following command?
upgrade.exe /s "test.sdf" /d "testbk.sdf"
Thanks.

Have a look to the log file (upgrade.log),
You can find it in the same directory where upgrade.exe is located.
You may find a more readable error message

Hi,
I am trying to upgrade a very small SS CE DB to SS a Compact Edition DB
using the following command on my pocket PC:
upgrade.exe /s "test.sdf" /d "testbk.sdf"
I use the upgrade tool copied from "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server
Compact Edition\v3.1\SDK\bin\wce400\armv4\upgrade.exe" directory and the
command line tool from "Windows Mobile Developer Power
Toys\PPC_Command_Shell".
However, I got the following error:
"Database upgrade failed".
I put upgrade.exe, cmd.exe and database file in same directory.
Is there anything wrong?
Thanks for any hints and suggestion.
GD
