Re: My sqlmobile data file corrupted

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Ginny,

Of course, I did but I couldn't even have connection established
though. So It doesn't work at all. Thanks for your help. I almost give
up getting through this at the moment.

I agree. Can you open the database using SQL Server Management Studio or SQL
Express sp2 Management Studio? There is a Repair option under database
properties with that tool.

By the way, my database doesn't have the password.
It seems like the password is not required here.

Assuming that you really are using the right pasword, I don't. Passwords
are
cases sensitve remember.

Hi Ginny,

I've tried what you suggested me to do, but I got an error which is
"[System.Data.SqlServerCe.SqlCeException] = {"The specified password
does not match the database password."}.

Any idea?

Thanks, Ginny. I'll give it a try.

Optimus,

I don't know what caused the problem, but have you tried the Repair
method?

Hi all,

I'm developing a ppc app using .netcf 2.0 with sqlmobile database
(sqlmobile v3.0). And, I've some problems having the sdf file
corrupt. I've got an
error that said "The database file may be corrupted. Interface
defining error:
IID_IDBInitialize". Another thing, It can not be recovered by using
menu "compact" in sql
analyzer.

And, What I would like to know are What caused the error? and Could
the
corrupted file be recovered?

Can anyone pls help with my problem?

Thanks in advance,
optimus
