Wesley,
Are you using the version of SSMS that comes with SQL Express? Currently SQL
Mobile isn't supported. You can edit queries in Visual Studio 2005 but you
can't "add querires to the database file" since SQL Mobile doesn't support
stored procedures.

I'm trying to build a SQL Mobile application and creation of the .sdf file
is becoming a challenge. The Microsoft documentation shows creation of the
database file in SMSS. The picture shows an option for a database file of
type "SQL Server Mobile."
The version of SMSS I have has the Server Type grayed out. I have to build
the database in Visual Studio with limited ability to manage it.
Did I miss something? Is there additional support that needs to be
installed to enable the build of ".sdf" files? How can I even edit or add
queries to database file?
I was at least expecting the same type of functionality and support from
SQL mobile as I do with SQL 2005.
